American Library Association Awards 2020
The American Library Association (ALA) announced the top books, video and audio books for children and young adults – including the Caldecott, Newbery and Printz awards – at its Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here are a list of the finalists:

This year’s Coretta Scott King–Virginia Hamilton Award for Lifetime Achievement was given to Mildred D. Taylor, author of the Logan Family saga, which concluded this month with the release of All the Days Past, All the Days to Come.
