Find your muse and fire up those typewriters because April is National Poetry Month! Now is the time to relish in the mystifying gifts of language and verse, and to meet some of the poets whose work has captured our collective imaginations.

Books & Books is pleased to continue our partnerships with O, Miami and the Miami Poetry club as we leverage the written word to enrich our community. To this end, we will be inviting poets to our Gables Store to read their work, craft new verses, and even offer fifteen minute sessions of one-on-one guidance to members of the general public.  And for those poets – veteran and aspiring – who want their voices heard, join us for the Palms and Poetry open mic session!
