Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Not only was Martin Luther King Jr. a visionary civil rights leader, he was also an avid reader and one of the finest rhetoricians of all time. We invite you to explore the life of Dr. King, his strategies of nonviolence and civil disobedience, and the writings that prove the immense potential for storytelling as a tool for good.
Additionally, we invite you to attend an evening with Geoffrey Philp, who will be presenting his graphic novel, My Name is Marcus, on March 15th. The story details the life of Jamaican activist Marcus Garvey, who’s work was an inspiration for Dr. King.
