Books & Books is thrilled to host an afternoon with Life to Paper Publishing’s Tabitha Rose.

About the Event:

Tabitha believes everyone has a story worth telling, and that by sharing our stories, we can help others see themselves in a positive light. During the event, she will discuss her own journey of moving to Miami to pursue her writing and publishing career, and she will offer tips on how to start writing your own life story. Whether you’re considering writing a memoir or simply want to document your personal history, this event will provide you with the inspiration and information you need to get started.

She will be joined by local authors Rebecca Szymczak–aka Cardsy B (The Saturn Diaries: A Modern Day Grimoire) and Jo Ferrone (Julian Dickerson and the Higher Ups) who will also be available to answer any questions you may have about the process of writing and publishing your work.

If you’re looking for a way to make a difference in the world by sharing your story, join us for an event you won’t want to miss.

About the Guests:

Jo Ferrone, Author of Julian Dickerson and the Higher Ups and the upcoming Doreen by Doreen “It’s an exclusive club that everyone can join” is the mission and mantra of Jo Ferrone. A born rebel of eight siblings, she is best known as the co-creator of Angela Anaconda and FidoDido, her homage to the ordinary humans living extraordinary lives – heroes for everyone. Drawn to explore, she found her soulmates in dingy diners, cartoon creators drawing rooms and the backwoods of Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY.
A failed receptionist with abysmal typing skills, she nonetheless writes novels that reveal people as perfectly imperfect as we are. Her first book, a tale of a girl who turns into a PB&J sandwich before being eaten by a horse is of course, a 2nd grade masterpiece found only in her public school library. Jo resides in Miami, FL on the beach with an entourage of animal companions… and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Rebecca Szymczak–aka Cardsy B—author of The Saturn Diaries: A Modern Day Grimoire–Rebecca Szymczak—aka Cardsy B—is a writer, intuitive tarot reader, and healing catalyst. Her work has been featured in MTV, Nylon, Shape, Bustle, and The Zoe Report. She quit her fashion career to dive deeper into her intuitive gifts after experiencing a dark night of the soul.
She now uses tarot to guide clients, including celebrities, C-suite executives, artists, and entrepreneurs, to their own inner knowing and healing abilities. In addition to creating her signature tarot deck, Badass Bitches Tarot, Cardsy B is also the host of the Hex and the City podcast. Bex lives in Miami with her dog Lola, famously known as “Lola the Dom Pom”.
