About the Author:

Hans Lagerweij, originally from the Netherlands, holds an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MA in Brand Management. His early career foundation was built in brand activation, development, and sales roles within the packaged consumer goods industry. He then transitioned to the travel and tourism sector, where he has a proven track record of leading, turning-around and growing businesses. His experience includes CEO and President roles at Quark Expeditions and Victory Cruise Lines as well as leading international businesses for Albatros Travel and serving as a Senior Vice President at Four Seasons. Hans now leads Flying Dutchman Consultancy, focusing on growth strategies. He is also a trustee of the Safer Tourism Foundation and a board advisor for several startups.

About the Moderator:

Lise-Marie Wertanzl is a distinguished travel professional and leader, driven by a passion for crafting dream journeys. Her early years living abroad and traveling with her mother ignited this lifelong love. Following a successful performing arts career, she transitioned her focus to travel after meeting her cruise executive husband. In 2011, she established Sterling Journeys, consistently ranking in Gifted Travel Network’s Top Producer’s Club. A recognized luxury expert, she spoke at the 2024 Gifted Travel Network Symposium. Lise-Marie was named a Virtuoso Cruise Icon in 2024 and 2025 (top 1% of cruise sales) and a Conde Nast Top Travel Specialist in 2025. Based in Miami & Cape Coral, FL, she specializes in luxury travel, with a particular fondness for exotic destinations.
