Miami-based financial advisor Victoria Lowell has spent countless hours with women going through the worst times of their lives: women who are newly widowed or grieving an unexpected divorce; women who just found out the family business is bankrupt or perhaps need to start paying alimony to an unfaithful husband. Vicky has also watched the perceived self-worth and confidence of numerous clients skyrocket, as they learn money management strategies to care for their families no matter the circumstances. Their success in personal finance leads to greater self-help and improvement, better health and stress, and the ability to take charge of their financial futures.

Out of these experiences comes “Empower your Worth: A Woman’s Guide to Increasing Self-Worth and Net Worth,” a book that reads like a heart-to-heart chat over coffee with a compassionate friend who just happens to know everything you need to know about managing money. By sticking to the essentials, Lowell has written a book that is quick and easy to digest, a two-hour short read for women from all backgrounds that grants insight into how to achieve greater financial prosperity. We provide comprehensive guidance on where to focus your limited time and energy, no matter the situation, and keep you in control of your money. EMPOWERED WORTH™ strives to create a movement where women become an important part of the financial planning process, for themselves and their families. It more easily and effectively allows women to take a seat at the drafting board of their futures.

Visit www.empoweredworth.com to learn more about Lowell’s on-demand, personal finance courses, a range of services delivered online via Teachable. Full membership grants students with complete access to the EMPOWERED WORTH™ curriculum, newsletter, Facebook group, and private coaching sessions.

About the Author:

Victoria “Vicky” Lowell is a financial counselor and the founder of Empowered Worth, a financial-education platform that empowers women to become active participants in their own financial future and well-being. She is also the author of “Empower your Worth: A Woman’s Guide to Increasing Self-Worth and Net Worth.” Her financial knowledge has led to her hosting a college-planning seminar at the University of Miami this year with several speaking opportunities planned, both locally and nationally, next year.

In addition to financial planning, she is an expert on the immediate and long-term financial implications of divorce as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®).

Lowell was formerly at UBS Financial Services, Inc. As a client service associate, she was instrumental in creating educational content for clients and providing concierge-level service for the Lowell Group. She later transitioned to financial advisor where she implemented a comprehensive and holistic approach to financial planning.

It was while engaging in frank and open dialogue with women in the community that she realized an overwhelming number did not possess a basic understanding of their finances. This prompted Lowell to leave UBS in late 2018 and follow her passion to help women assert themselves fiscally. Empowered Worth was born as a resource for financial coaching geared toward educating women to not only meet their immediate economic needs but attain long-term goals.

Fostering this desire has been her work with entities such as the S.O.S. Organization at the Sloan School at MIT, the Junior League of Greenwich, Connecticut and locally with Baptist Hospital Foundation.

Born and raised in Florida, Vicky learned the value of an entrepreneurial spirit from her parents and as a college student worked alongside them at the family business. That experience cultivated her passion for helping other entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams. She received her degree from Florida International University and majored in organization management and human resources.
