Three very different couples lose themselves in the depths of the Brazilian Amazon and find a universal truth. Join them on this funny, poignant, racy journey of self-discovery that reminds us all that sometimes we need to step outside of our comfort zone to become who we were meant to be.
About:
Stephanie Ansin is a Miami-based playwright and theater director. Her work has received support from Knight Foundation, The Shubert Foundation, and National Endowment for the Arts. Her awards include: Finalist for the Ellen Stewart International Award (2016) and Silver Palm Award for Outstanding Creative Staging and Production for Three Sisters at Miami Theater Center (2013). Stephanie is currently participating in Miami-Dade County’s two-year Playwright Development Program, and she recently workshopped her new play JUNGLE LOVE at The Playwrights’ Center in Minneapolis. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Brown University and an MFA in Theatre Directing from Columbia University.
This play was developed with the support of the Playwrights’ Center in Minneapolis, Indigenous Direction, South Florida Theatre League, and Miami-Dade County Playwright Development Program.
