Have you ever felt so desperate or so depressed that you felt like giving up? Be honest. Now, did you ever say to yourself, “I’m probably worth more dead than alive”? Julie suffered from empty nest syndrome. She had been forced into early retirement while her husband had hit the pinnacle of his career. She was lost. What she didn’t know was that her depression was normal. But Julie had a plan. She was going to end her misery; however, in the execution of it, a remarkable thing happened. At a hotel, she met four women who were on a girls’ getaway. They had a very strange impact on her.

About the Author:

Readers, especially women, will identify and resonate with Judy’s characters, and enjoy their challenges and successes as they navigate this maze we call life. A late bloomer and product of the Baby Boomer generation, Judy has finally been able to pursue her passion for writing with a purpose other than one for which she was assigned. Starting as an empty nester blogger, filling time that was previously spent tending to her husband and two children, she wrote and gained followers. In 2016, she decided to make an attempt at pure fiction, but on timely topics that appeal to today’s women.

Currently, Judy resides in Miami, Florida with her husband, her mother and her four legged “child,” Alex, where she writes as a consultant for web designers and continues writing for pleasure. Her second novel, “Okay, So I Lied,” was released in early July, 2017. “Voices from the Ledge,” a fictional study in suicidal ideation in middle aged women is her newest, released in December, 2018. She is currently endeavoring into her first murder mystery, written in her ‘inner voice’ style.
