About the Book:
In this refreshingly honest book, Dana De Greff uses her own experiences as a writer, editor, journalist, coach, and instructor to share insight and techniques for aspiring writers, creatives, and story lovers. Words and Wonder: A Guide to Becoming a Creative Writer reveals some of the basic tools everyone must have to foster a more creative life and answers the top questions from writers of all ages and abilities, such as: how to find the time to write; how to find inspiration; how to get published, and more. Words and Wonder also provides hacks for tapping into the flow state and inspirational “De Greff Doors,” or journaling prompts.
Through it all, De Greff reminds us: “No matter how or when or why you write, the words can only come from you, and only you can get them out of your head and onto the page.”
