About the Book:
This poetry book is a written memoir of spiritual growth through recovery. It has been thoughtfully formatted with short synopsis and scripture leading into each poem series, along with coordinating, custom painted artwork. The writing touches on vulnerable topics such as mental health, addiction, and body dysmorphia.
About the Author:
Carly Reed has struggled with addiction, mental health, and body dysmorphia since a teenager. She is currently sober and picked up pursuing many creative hobbies during recovery as a way to express and process many feelings that she buried for so long. On this healing journey, she’s turned a lot of pain into beauty as she has immersed herself in numerous artistic endeavors. One of the most beautiful results of art has been evident through her writing. Her goal is to share the lessons she’s learned, within my mess, by transforming them into a positive message which others can benefit from. She uses many artistic outlets for her creative expression and love to tell a story through her art.
