About the Book:
My book was originally written to guide and educate our younger adults in taking the necessary steps in finding their first apartment to rent when they leave their parent’s homes…which is I’m sure an exciting time for a young adult! They are now venturing into making real-life decisions, and my book is to make it a smooth adventure. It’s also a quick guide for parents to provide to their children or for anyone who decides to purchase the book. It’s easy to read and will provide a step-by-step guide as to what they should think about before they decide to move out and rent their first place. As well as life lessons on overall things to know when you are independent in making business decisions. There is a section in the book where a list of items that first-time renters should have for their first place which gives the reader an opportunity to save up the amount of money they should have to purchase the items they possibly would need. The reader is given suggestions on what steps they should take to pick the right location to move to and what they should understand before signing that lease. True life stories are also provided by young adults the reader can relate to, so they can avoid some of the issues or mistakes those individuals learned from their own journeys.I wrote this book for my daughter and her friends and to share my knowledge and other experiences to connect with our young generation of today. It will be a resourceful book that will be a simplistic read to guide our young adults In the right direction …One Thing Before You Leave Home.
