Books & Books is thrilled to present a morning with Dr. Geeta Nayyar, Dr. Eneida O. Roldan, & Dr. Latha Chandran having a fireside chat regarding Nayyar’s insightful book: Dead Wrong: Diagnosing and Treating Healthcare’s Information Illness (Wiley, $28.00).
This event is FREE and open to the public. However, there is the option to buy a bundled ticket that includes (1) one a copy of DEAD WRONG, which will be handed out upon entry to the event.

About the Book:
About Dr. Geeta Nayyar:
Dr. G is the former Chief Medical officer at Salesforce. She’s a rheumatologist and nationally-recognized leader in health IT, bridging the divide between clinical medicine, business, and digital health. As a Board Member of the American Telemedicine Association and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Alumni Association, she helps steer decision-making at some of the nation’s most influential medical organizations. Her work and expertise have earned her appearances on CNN, and PBS, and she is regularly featured on CNBC and Yahoo Finance.
She is the author of the book “Dead Wrong,” with a fall 2023 release date, which diagnoses medicine’s information illness through rich stories and insights derived from the boardroom. She makes the case that building trust and health literacy at scale requires healthcare leaders to take responsibility for the problems and their solutions.
About Dr. Eneida O. Roldan:
Eneida O. Roldan, M.D., M.P.H., MBA is the Chief Executive Officer for FIU Healthcare Network. In this role, Roldan leads the clinical enterprise that serves the Academic Health Center, FIU Campus, and the community. In addition to the CEO role, Roldan serves as Associate Dean for International Affairs for the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. As the Associate Dean for International Affairs, she is responsible for developing collaboration and innovative programs across the medical school with international partners and clinical affiliates. Under her leadership, the International program of the College of Medicine has grown in a short of five years to host over 240 universities across 52 Countries.
About Dr. Latha Chandran:
Dr. Latha Chandran is the Executive Dean and the Founding Chair of the Department of Medical Education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Nationally, she served as past President of the Academic Pediatric Association and as immediate past Vice Chair of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Chandran received her medical degree from Trivandrum Medical College in India and her MPH from Johns Hopkins University. She served in various leadership roles at Renaissance School of Medicine Stony Brook University, most recently as the Vice Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs and the Miriam and David Donoho Distinguished Teaching Professor. A tenured educator scholar who has received numerous teaching awards, Dr Chandran is the founding co- director of a national award winning three-year national faculty development program- the Educational Scholars Program- for junior pediatric educators.
