Chef Allen’s Farm-to-Table Monday Night Dinners: Farm-to-Fitness: Peace is Every Meal
The Cambodian monk Thich Nhat Hanh taught us that Peace is Every Step. We’re taking that lesson one step further as we enter the new year with a resolution to pay attention to what we are eating and how we are doing it. Slow down, clean up, seek a seasonal and delicious alternative! Market Mondays bring the weekly promise of refreshment and renewal. Entertain the kids with storytelling at Books & Books, restore and refocus with a yoga class outside in the plaza (brought to you by Prana Yoga) and stay for dinner with Chef Allen. This is a meal you won’t soon forget: 5 courses of plant-based yumminess, served up nice and slow, community-style, so you can get to know your neighbors in the process. With the sounds of soothing live music, the glow of the stars up above, you will know you are finding the peace that comes from feeding yourself right.
