CARMEN TERESA LEIVA ROIZ
This is a political thriller with elements of international intrigue and suspense. Dire circumstances force thousands of Cubans to risk their lives to find freedom in the United States by making the dangerous crossing between Cuba and the southern-most tip of Florida. Meanwhile Middle Eastern spies devise a scheme to have a group of terrorists steal three rafters’ identities in order to penetrate this country and set in motion a sinister plot. “An intriguing story beautifully told. I absolutely enjoyed it, couldn’t put it down. A passionate journey of human emotions.” Cristina Saralegui, bestselling author, Emmy award winner television personality, host of El show de Cristina. “A rollicking adventure set against the Cuban balsero saga. Carmen Teresa Roiz has penned a true page turner, further enhanced by its characters’ Caribbean idiosyncrasies. I enjoyed it tremendously.” Luis Santeiro. Emmy award writer of ¿Qué Pasa USA? and Sesame Street. Author of “Dancing with Dictators,” a memoir.
