Just like most South Floridians, Books & Books has a cousin up North. In July, our family added a new store opening in Westhampton Beach, N.Y. Mitchell Kaplan partnered with Jack McKeown and Denise Berthiaume -- two of the publishing industry’s most respected and innovative veterans -- to create this affiliate store.

McKeown and Berthiaume, long-time residents of the Westhampton area, bring the Books & Books experience to a new region with their bookshop in this resort community of eastern Long Island.

And already the Westhampton Beach store has hosted an impressive list of author events --- from children's laureate Jon Scieszka to New Journalism founder Gay Talese, and so many more.
