James O. Born
James O. Born is the author of three novels set in South Florida featuring FDLE Special Agent Bill Tasker. Born is a former U.S. Drug agent and a FDLE agent stationed in West Palm Beach. A native Floridian, he has been the technical advisor to a number of authors and TV shows.
Born's next novel from Putnam, Field of Fire, concerns the efforts of ATF agent Alex Duarte to stop a serial bombing. He must cris-cross the country as he finds that there is no one he can trust as a conspiracy is uncovered.
