Books & Books, the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, FIU and The LAB Miami are excited to announce their first collaboration: 'The $100 Startup' Competition. Inspired by the bestselling book by Chris Guillebeau, we are challenging local entrepreneurs to bring their most innovative ideas for businesses that can be launched with a mere $100. Applicants must complete a 1-page business plan and mission statement in 140 characters or less. Finalists will be invited to pitch their startup in a public event at Books & Books on Small Business Saturday, November 24th, where a panel of judges will fund the most promising ventures and additional prizes will be awarded.
