Books & Books has a 20-year tradition of involvement with South Florida's schools, offering fundraising opportunities and book discount options to the children of our community, through a varied selection of services, including:
In-Store Book Fairs
- A percentage of sales are donated back to the school
- Pre-order of books in selected subjects or areas of interest
- Flexible duration (1 evening to a full week)
- Teacher requests/librarian suggestions accomodated
- Large selection of books for all grade levels
- All book and gift items available for school discount
- Showcase school groups i.e. musical presentations/poetry readings/art exhibits
- In-store Cafe can provide special food and beverage offerings
Special Services for Schools
Author Events & Special Programs for Children
- Author events in English and Spanish for adults and children
- Newsletter available online at www.booksandbooks.com
- Storytime for children in English every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:00am
- Participate in the Coral Gables Farmer's Market annually where we feature children's story readings and character visits;
- We have a close relationship with the Actors' Playhouse and the Miami Children's Museum - look for special previews and events in the store;
